We generally meet in the Sportsman’s Lounge of the Memorial Hall, on the second Tuesday of each month at 19:30. The agenda for each meeting is published on the noticeboard in the Memorial Hall carpark prior to each meeting.

Every meeting has a ‘public participation’ section where residents are invited to speak to the Council, and this is usually at an early stage in the agenda. By request, an item may be added to forthcoming meeting agenda for formal discussion. It is advisable, in these circumstances, to speak with one of the Councillors or the Clerk beforehand.

The photograph is of the Charfield Parish Council ‘Badge of Office’ which may be worn by the Council Chairperson. In quarters it shows a steam train (representative of the 1928 Charfield Railway Crash), the old church at Churchend, farming tools representing our rural location, and finally a rampant lion holding a scroll. If you know why we have such a beast on our medallion do get in touch!
