SITA & Annual Parish Meeting

Our thanks to Stephanie Dunn of SITA who gave a most interesting talk about waste & recycling in South Gloucestershire. Well done to those parishioners who attended – we hope you were pleased with the refreshments, enlightening presentations and the chance to chat with many Councillors informally.

Stephanie has also mentioned that there are free compost bins on offer from SITA for Charfield residents. Visit the website http://www.recyclenow.com/compost/ for more information.

Watch out for the draft Annual Parish Meeting minutes on the website soon – and don’t forget to attend next year! This is not a council meeting at all – it is a meeting which the Council holds each year solely for the parishioners/villagers to have their say……….
